Keyboard navigation

This site can be navigated with the keyboard. Each of the main navigations items has an underlined character which indicates the hot key for that item. To use the hotkey, hold down Alt and press the required key. Note that some browsers (notably Internet Explorer®) require the return key to be pressed following that sequence.

Special note for FireFox users. In version 2 of Firefox the sequence of keys for executing hot keys was changed to avoid clashes with the menu. If you are using FireFox and the Alt + key combination doesn't work you will need to use Shift + Alt + key.

If a sub menu is being displayed (such as on the Hints & tips page) the hotkeys are assigned as numbers, 1 for the first item and so forth.
